JUST A HORSE

Located an hour north of Denver, tucked up against the foothills, Aviance Arabians boasts some of the finest Arabian bloodstock and show prospects. Owner Julie Patton, a graduate of CSU's equine reproduction program, was the Breeding Manager at Ventura Farms for six years after spending a year at Peterson & Smith in Ocala, FL setting up a frozen semen and embryo transfer station for them.
As a result of her extensive experience, Julie has become a very successful small breeder, producing youngsters like Marcela (TF Psymreekhe x JSL Aviance), named 2007 Scottsdale Top Ten in both open halter and the Signature Stallion class. She was also a Region 1 Top Five Sweepstakes Filly and was expected to win a National title (she was unable to compete due to illness). Julie prides herself in breeding beautiful halter horses that can go on to compete in the performance ring, regardless of bloodline. Her current band of mares includes a paternal sister to the dam of Magnum Psyche (JSL Aviance, the dam of Marcela), a halter champion daughter of U.S. National Champion Stallion Millennium LOA+, and a daughter of U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion Alada Baskin whose dam line has produced National winners for six generations. 2008 foals are expected by GG Atlantis (by Magnum Psyche) and Canadian Reserve National Champion Stallion and National Champion sire Psymadre. Please feel free to call and schedule a visit any time.
